Allie and Cole met in high school at Orem High, in an Adult Roles class. Ironic, isn’t it? How they met in a class about learning how to raise kids, work through marital issues, and manage money and health.
Allie noticed Cole right away. He had quiet confidence, killer style, sincerity, and loyalty. She remembers spotting Cole in the halls at school and feeling fluttery every time they said hi to each other. And when Allie found out he rode BMX… swoon…it was obvious she had a major crush. But there was nothing more than small gestures of friendship between Allie and Cole through graduation, and so the years passed with each of them living independent of one another.
Until one day, Allie received a simple Facebook message from Cole asking how she was doing after all those years. Exchanging a few digital letters, they reignited their friendship, and in December of 2011, Allie and Cole went on their first date. Now, they’ve been together for 4 fantastic years!
Allie and Cole love to spend time with their family and friends, get outside, and learn new things about the world around them. They are better together than they are apart, which is one of the most important things in any love story.
On September 22, 2015, Allie and Cole were married in Salt Lake City, Utah. In their relationship, they appreciate the little things. To be able to say, “Goodnight” instead of, “Goodbye” at the end of each day together is something they will never take for granted as they embark on the journey of their new marriage.
A few things about Allie from Cole:
She is creative and self-driven. She always sees the good in people and cares about them. She’s quick to defend someone, even if she’s never met them. She is an amazing artist and an incredible photographer. Allie has the best eye for color and enhancing a picture, room, clothes, or whatever needs some TLC. She is a great planner, but she also supports me in my random urges to change things up. It’s been an awesome adventure so far.
A few things about Cole from Allie:
He excels. Always. And loves to keep himself busy learning about new hobbies. Whether in physically demanding sports like basketball, football, BMX trick riding, boxing, and tactical shooting, or creative areas like drawing, mixing paint, and mechanics, he keeps things fresh and is always growing. He is the most solid and caring man I have ever met. His quality of character is pure and anyone who spends time with him knows that. He always encourages me, uplifts me, and laughs at my stupid jokes. He truly knows the meaning of compromise, communication, and love.
